• Visit to Vietnam

Recently, a delegation from the CTEF China Chemical Equipment Exhibition Organizing Committee visited Vietnam for a three-day exchange activity, including visits to authoritative industry associations and discussions on industry exhibitions. As a core hub for the development of the chemical industry in Southeast Asia, Vietnam, leveraging its advantageous geographical location and favorable industrial policies, has continuously expanded its production capacity in sub-sectors such as fertilizers, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals, accelerating its industrial upgrading. The market demand for high-quality chemical equipment, advanced technologies, and supporting services is increasingly strong, making it a core base for Chinese chemical equipment companies to cultivate the Southeast Asian market. During this visit, the organizing committee used the industry exhibition as a link to precisely connect with top association resources, aiming to build an efficient cooperation bridge between the Chinese and Vietnamese chemical equipment industries, explore potential cooperation opportunities, and help Chinese chemical equipment companies expand their market presence in Southeast Asia.

• First stop——Vietnam Fertilizer Association (FAV)

On November 27th, the organizing committee's first stop was the Vietnam Chemical Industry Exhibition. During the exhibition, the committee held discussions with the chairman of the Vietnam Fertilizer Association (FAV). This association is a core organization and key driver of Vietnam's fertilizer industry. A member of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA), it possesses both local coordination capabilities and international connections. Its members cover over 95% of Vietnam's fertilizer companies, encompassing core entities such as compound fertilizer manufacturers and traders. Member companies account for over 70% of Vietnam's total urea and compound fertilizer production capacity, deeply integrating the upstream and downstream of the industry.

Taking the exhibition as an opportunity, both parties had in-depth communication on matters such as the promotion of CTEF in Vietnam, the organization of fertilizer companies to participate in the exhibition, and the matching of equipment procurement needs. The association made it clear that it will leverage its industry influence to comprehensively promote the CTEF series of exhibitions, organize high-quality companies to participate in and visit the exhibitions, build a precise matching channel for fertilizer equipment between China and Vietnam, and help domestic exhibitors connect with the equipment renewal and technology upgrading needs of Vietnamese companies.

• Second stop——VIETNAM PESTICIDE ASSOCIATION (VIPA)

Subsequently, the organizing committee deepened its cooperation with the Vietnam Pesticide Association (VIPA) in specific areas. VIPA is a core service and coordination body in Vietnam's pesticide industry, encompassing major local pesticide production, processing, trading, and technical service enterprises. Leveraging Vietnam's agricultural advantages, VIPA deeply integrates upstream and downstream sectors, accurately grasps the industry's capacity layout, product iteration, and equipment upgrade needs, and plays a crucial role in industry standardization, technical exchange, and government-enterprise collaboration.

Both sides focused on exchanging views on issues such as matching supply and demand for pesticide equipment and implementing cooperation at exhibitions. The association pledged to mobilize its member companies to participate in the CTEF exhibition and business activities, accurately convey equipment procurement needs, establish a regular cooperation mechanism, and promote the deep integration of pesticide equipment technology between China and Vietnam.

• Third stop——Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry（VCCI）

On November 28th, the organizing committee paid a special visit to the Head of VCCI-HCM International Transaction of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to deepen comprehensive cooperation and alignment between the Chinese and Vietnamese chemical industries. As Vietnam's only national-level economic and trade promotion agency, the VCCI wields significant influence in the national economic and commercial sector, bringing together and representing businesses, employers, and business associations across various economic sectors. It serves as a vital bridge between businesses and the government. Its core functions include providing comprehensive support services to businesses, promoting trade and investment cooperation both domestically and internationally, advising the government on optimizing the business environment, and establishing extensive cooperative networks with business organizations in numerous countries and regions worldwide. In the chemical industry, it has accumulated rich corporate resources and transnational cooperation experience.

Both sides communicated on issues such as trade between China and Vietnam in the chemical equipment industry, upgrading of exhibition cooperation, and cross-border business matchmaking. The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated that it will focus on recommending high-quality Vietnamese chemical companies to participate in the CTEF series of exhibitions, leveraging the CTEF platform to connect with advanced global chemical equipment resources, and providing policy interpretation and resource coordination support for Chinese chemical equipment companies to enter the Vietnamese market, thereby helping to promote the deep integration of the chemical equipment industries of the two countries.

• Fourth stop——Vietnam Pharmaceutical Association (VNPCA)

On November 28th, the organizing committee visited the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Association (VNPCA) and reached a consensus on in-depth cooperation for the 2026 exhibition. During the 2026 exhibition, a delegation of Vietnamese pharmaceutical and chemical companies will be organized to visit Shanghai for procurement, conducting one-on-one procurement matchmaking activities. This will provide Chinese chemical equipment companies with a precise channel to directly reach core procurement decision-makers in the Vietnamese pharmaceutical industry chain. This in-depth cooperation demonstrates the exhibition's international influence, significantly reduces the cost of international market expansion for companies, improves procurement matching efficiency, helps Chinese equipment companies quickly obtain high-quality orders from the Vietnamese pharmaceutical and chemical sector, and deepens Sino-Vietnamese industrial synergy.

This visit to Vietnam yielded fruitful results. Using industry exhibitions as a starting point and collaborating with four authoritative associations, it laid a solid foundation for cooperation between China and Vietnam in the chemical equipment industry. The CTEF China International Chemical Equipment Expo, approved by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, will celebrate its 18th edition in 2026. It has developed into a core platform connecting global chemical technology and equipment innovation, focusing on eight core sectors and attracting over a thousand leading companies from more than 20 countries and regions. Currently, the expo has attracted several high-quality Vietnamese chemical companies to form professional visiting groups, providing domestic exhibitors with a direct channel to the Southeast Asian market.

In the future, the CTEF organizing committee will take this visit to Vietnam as an opportunity to continue to cultivate the Southeast Asian market, further integrate local industrial resources, optimize the cross-border cooperation and docking mechanism, help Chinese chemical equipment companies accurately explore overseas markets, and promote the high-quality development of China's chemical equipment industry on the international stage.
