Against China's Dual Carbon Goals and the 15th Five-Year Plan, the domestic chemical industry is speeding up its shift toward greener and smarter production. Fueled by supportive policies, the national large-scale equipment renewal campaign has unlocked massive market potential. As an indispensable core production segment, material handling and conveying technologies are witnessing robust innovation across crushing, mixing, drying, transportation, storage and packaging sectors.

Under such industry backdrop, the Chemical Material Handling & Conveying Technology Innovation Forum will be hosted on June 10, 2026 at Shanghai New International Expo Center alongside CTEF China International Chemical Technology & Equipment Exhibition. Centered on trending technologies covering crushing, mixing, drying, conveying, storage, filling and packaging, the forum gathers elite players across the whole industrial chain to discuss cutting-edge trends, help enterprises seize transformation opportunities and facilitate the high-quality development of the chemical sector.

Topic: Research Progress on Dense-phase Pneumatic Conveying of Coal Powder
Abstract: Clean coal conversion is critical for China’s energy transition and modern coal chemical industry. Stable high-concentration coal feeding is essential for reliable entrained-flow gasification. Due to strong inter-particle adhesion, coal powder easily agglomerates and blocks pipelines, restricting stable dense-phase conveying. His team established multi-scale characterization for sticky coal powder, clarified fluidization promotion principles, built pressure drop prediction models and flow regulation strategies. The finalized high-pressure dense-phase conveying technology features high throughput and low fluctuation to guarantee stable industrial gasifier feeding.
2. Wei Guitao, Master of Engineering, Chief Mechanical Engineer & Technical Director
With decades of experience in mining and chemical conveying equipment, he oversees R&D and technical management for domestic and overseas landmark coal chemical, mineral and heavy industry projects, proficient in equipment design review, commissioning and on-site operation management.
